New Hardware and Permanant Solution in!Monday, August 15th, 2022
The new outdoor and robust gateway is now officially attached to a 30ft flag pole. We ran our ethernet cables for power, attached our gateway and confirmed the equipment is connected and running.

We successfully performed our first go-around on our functioning prototype! It went exceptionally well. We determined that we need a stronger GPS Gateway to reach all 18 holes as well as work out some code behind-the-scenes.

We've successfully implemented the majority of the IOT infrastructure and network design. Our GPS Receivers are successfully sending into our Internet of Things dashboard, then into our AWS infrastructure where we do a lot of the heavy data manipulation and conversion to our customer facing front-end.

Slow but steady development on configuring our receivers to properly send longtitude and lattitude data to our AWS databases. We're also working on sending other critical information from the receivers like Received Signal Strength Indicators, Battery health, altitude, and time.

Our founder, Ryan McCarthy had an idea that golf cart management, pace of play and statistical analytics of golf could be optimized incredibly further with the power of data. He ventured to order some GPS equipment and bring his friends, Andrew Baytler and Alex Simak onboard to bring this project to life.
